Few years ago visit to Pimpri-chincwad used to give me goose pimples all over. A tough smoky ride with all heavy vehicles zipping across. Feeling industrially polluted to the core. Head so heavy trying to reach my destination with utter urgency. All major companies looked so healthy with bad roads to hell.

Now it’s all changed to my surprise roads are wider. Ride to Pimpri-chincwad is no more a roller coaster ride. The joy of one way is so immense that one can’t imagine. Feeling corporate so developed and wonderful in Pimpri-chincwad, vertically dividing the crossing to growth.

Temples to worship, lake standing still as the greens grow on them. Railway platforms provide shade to the passengers all to provide safe journey. Tracks cutting large fields and leading to progress.

Creativity at its peak, cultural centers buzzing with activities .The source of entertainment gets multiple. The complexes reflecting light that falls on a common man. Many new townships like the queenstown with narrow entrances open up new world in Pimpri-chincwad. Companies look so successful and providing enough oxygen for an healthy growth. Fantastic buildings all shine for me to dream which is unimaginable. Hospitals looking like five star hotels emerge from nowhere. Incase of illness please visit a five star called hospital comforting us to get well.

The natural happiness still so pure reminding us of simplicity to live on which zips by in a flash. The source of energy so gloried to provide fuels to our vehicles. Brands so many for one term called petrol. Malls interiors so large and comfortable for us to spend hours away from reality. Big Mac stares at us at every Conner and dome of joy spread all over.

The word E (Like of E zone) shaped like the @ sign rounds it up. Waiting for Tata motors Nano’s to roll out and as cables roll out for India to get connected in this wireless centre to infinity.

Road to Viman Nagar has widen. With the wide view at least we can view the forgotten sky now. A trip to Viman Nagar used to be gloomy and Smokey. Now with a straight hit we can enjoy the drive. Still two wheeler rule the four wheelers. A taste of progress is noticeable. Red with shade of blue buzz across. Malls with palm trees and posh buildings and ample parking space look so tempting. International schools at Viman Nagar look so out of place. Baron lands and heavy concert structures sum up on Viman Nagar. An occasional Old house with beautiful trees pass by. Pink up market row houses sub divide Viman Nagar. IT parks in the form of space ships have landed on Viman Nagar .. It’s like an alien land. Old lanes are struggling to come in terms with the new. Play groups mushroom up for the new age working women. Tree tunnel passing thru few colonies in Viman Nagar provides us hope. Side walks looking like a war area among the commercial hubs. Companies looking forward for new business at low points. Road dividers are getting higher obstructing the view. Auto and IT spaces are available in plenty and ready to take a turn. An uncanny feeling of a landlord prevails on Viman Nagar. Glass buildings get more transparent and business get visible. School and travel buses all wait to get loading for a new world. Educational institute work hard for a new bright future for the Viman to take off.

MG Road Pune

M G road has nothing to do with Gandhian philosophy. MG road Pune is like a gigantic mall spread all over. A visit to Pune and not visiting MG road is a crime. No doubt MG road means quality. But the drive down to MG road is as tiring as ever. The traffic is so intense its like playing crash and burn video game. If you are hungry and having a great taste mg road is worth it.

A late night drive across mg road is fantastic. Businessmen retiring from work, shops half shut, few late eaters crabbing a bite, roads are deserted, driving on MG road is like listening to jazz.

Whenever we feel gingery we run in for kayani bakery to berry in. For meat heads visit kareems, Bagbhan, it’s a trip to non-veg greed. For snack eaters Budhani rocks. On MG road quite a few structures are old but ooze with new thoughts.

Pune without MG road means nothing. The church bells are always ringing, temples singing it’s like an celebration lasting a lifetime.
